17.10.16 -Eat, Sleep, Gym, Repeat..

me
This post is from the other week and I didn’t have time to publish it so here it is now..better late than never! 😉

Evening guys!
So I was unsure wether to post this or not but how can you say no to an obligatory selfie infront of the gym mirrors? Haha!

When I first started this gym back in late January I didn’t have any confidence, I would never stand there and take a snap in my kit as the person looking back at me in my eyes was just chubby and horrible.

I am in no way near my target yet for my ‘perfect wedding body’ but hopefully I’ll get there someday soon. It’s so hard to stay on track and if you have managed to without buckling to a naughty treat here and there then please pass on this sacred knowledge, I have a sweet tooth and the cravings can be so annoying.

I hit a huge wall these last two weeks, I’ve been stuck the same weight fluctuating up and down by a few pounds (the birthday cake and meals for my dad didn’t help mind, but he’s worth that – love you! haha)

Anyway enough about me and my body goals (eeeek!) what do you guys take to the gym?
Have any recommendations on great gym gear?

I seem to be spending all my money recently on leggings and tops!

These are the most recent things I’ve blown all my money on!

Love these beauties, always wanted a pair of Roshe one Nikes but they are so pricey. These are still currently in the sale from £70 down to £55.99. Love them, super flexible and comfy for training in the gym/running outside!
On my list for santa is a pair in black and white next.

What essentials do you pack for the gym?

16.10.16 – Homeware hunting

How cute are these little prints?!

I’ve literally sat here for the last half of an hour looking around on one of my favourite websites – Etsy (gotta love Etsy!)
I’ve been scrolling through lots of cute homewares such as, prints, rugs and knitted goodies to add a fresh but cosy autumnal vibe to our house.

When we moved into our house roughly just over a year ago, the living and dining room were painted a lovely shade of avocado green with striped green and brown wallpaper and oh yeah striped green and brown curtains to match.. not to our taste so this needed to be changed, fast!
We painted and wallpapered both rooms, sticking to neutral cooling tones of white and grey to modernise the rooms.

I really want to stick with the grey colour scheme in our living room, I’ll take a picture soon to show you guys how our living/dinning rooms are coming along.

What prints are you guys into at the moment?

I love nosing on other homeware and fashion blogs and a lot of beautifully designed homes have loads of artwork hanging on the walls.

Love that look and it totally makes me want to buy all of these little cuties!

15.10.16 – Welcome

Hello there everyone.. well anyone who has spent the time reading this – thank you!
I’m Madeleine and that little pup in the picture right there that’s my little girl Lola. She lives with my Fiancé and I with her other tiny older sister Poppy, I’ll find a cute picture to post of her soon too (I promise I am not a ‘crazy dog lady’)… well just a tad, however this blog will not be totally filled with dog photos even though in my opinion they are the cutest and I would love to do so!

I mentioned I live with my pups, however I also just mentioned my Fiancé. His name is Tom, we’ve known each other almost 8 years now and we have been through many adventures together! We’ve been engaged roughly 4 years soon (coming up in December) and we finally got around to booking our wedding venue and our special date for early summer next year, super excited!

You’re most probably reading this and thinking why is she telling me all of this? Well, I set up this blog to post random thoughts on wedding ideas. Trust me I’ve spent many hours scrolling through Pintrest and pinning loads of pretty pictures to inspire me with the days overall look and design.

If you’re interested in reading up on wedding ideas, hearing about random adventures (with a high possibility of the two pups being involved), looking at homewares and interior design and maybe viewing a little outfit of the day or make up review here and there then I’m your blog -sales pitch over-… but seriously, if you’re interested in all of that then please feel free to read my random rambles.

I’m still getting used to this whole blogging idea so I’ll try and make a proper post tomorrow.

See you for the next post!
